Imran Mohiuddin heads Microsoft’s Datacenter Cybersecurity program management team responsible for keeping datacenters secure holistically. Microsoft datacenters constitute a complex industrial-scale facility sitting at the intersection of operational technologies (OT) and information technologies (IT). From the industrial control systems (ICS) managing the climate, power, water, to physical security systems, to various networks including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cellular/mobile, to software tools that help site services vendors, facility operations personnel, and software engineers who manage the servers and equipment within datacenters. Imran has also led Microsoft’s highly scalable end-to-end analytics and ML platform and tools that power data-driven decision making for developing, running, and supporting Azure services processing tens of PBs, billions of events and millions of queries each day. Prior to working at Microsoft, Imran worked as a Product Manager, to lead AWS EBS storage business. He completed his bachelors in Computer Science from University of Waterloo and earned MBA from Steven’s Institute of Technology.
